Get Scriblio
You’re Scriblio-curious and you have a server you’d like to use for the the WordPress + Scriblio suite. This page explains what you will need and how to get started.
Quick Install
- Check the system requirements (note: this is slightly more than WordPress’ own requirements):
- MySQL 5.x or better
- PHP 5.1x or better
- Apache with mod rewrite (to support permalinks)
- Download and install WordPress 2.7 or newer.Flickr Video
- Download, install, and activate the bSuite and Scriblio plugins, as well as any additional plugins you may desire.Flickr Video
- Configure an ILS importer plugin and start importing records. (Optional, really; you can skip this step if you’re using Scriblio for a digital archive.)Flickr Video
- Find a new theme, activate it, and set up the Scriblio widgets. Set up permalinks, choose a commenting policy, and start writing content.Flickr Video
